Strelbishte is a residential complex (residential complex) in Sofia, part of the Triaditsa district. It is located in the southern part of the city. It borders on the east with P. Yu. Todorov Blvd. and the South Park and one of the markets in Sofia - Ivan Vazov; on the south - with Gotse Delchev Blvd.; and in the northwest direction - with Bulgaria Blvd.
Emblematic of the complex are Nishava St., Haidushka Gora St., Bademova Gora St., especially in the part around the South Park, and Enos St., Major Parvan Toshev St., Dedeagach St., and Trayanova Vrata St., which are close to Bulgaria Blvd.
After the wars for national unification, southwest of the Ivan Vazov quarter and the ring railway line to V. Lazarov Blvd. and Krasno Selo, as well as north to the Tsaribrod quarter, the Strelbishte quarter gradually grew. It was named so because here were the shooting ranges of the soldiers of the First and Sixth Infantry Regiments of Tarnovo and the stop of the same name on the ring line.

The terrain was occupied by heavily flooded spring and autumn pastures, and the land belonged to the Boyana Municipality, seized from Sofia. First, the more northern part of the quarter was built up, mainly with refugees from the Kukush, Tsaribrod, Bosilegrad and others, which began to be called the First Shooting Range. Almost simultaneously, to the south, the Second Shooting Range was built up, mainly with settlers from the Tarn, Tsaribrod and others. The plots of land being built up were partially seized. The neighborhood was well planned, but the houses were single-story and by 1940 numbered about 5,000.
Strelbishte is one of the most communicative complexes (neighborhoods) of the capital. The following lines of the capital's public transport pass near the complex - trams: 1, 7; trolleybuses: 2, 7, 8, 9; buses: 64, 73, 74, 76, 83, 102, 204, 304, N4 (night line)
